DESCRIPTION: Many veterans who have disabilities not related to their military service want to know what monetary benefits are available to them from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The good news is that VA provides a pension benefit to wartime veterans who are age 65 or older and low-income, or if under 65 are permanently and totally disabled.
